Moonlight Mountain Gear, an outdoor gear manufacturer from Burfjord, Norway, announced today the signing of veteran freeheel skiers and guides, J.T. Robinson and Sven Gorham, to one-year deals leading into the 2018-2019 northern hemisphere winter.
“Robinson and Gorham are talented, influential backcountry freeheel skiers who are a natural fit for Moonlight’s product line that specializes in ultra-lightweight skis, bindings and high-powered headlamps,” said Kjell Ellefson, Moonlight Mountain Gear Marketing Manager. Robinson is a freeheel industry leader, backcountry guide, and host in the United States. Gorham is a guide and patrolman leading an endless winter lifestyle working out of Japan and New Zealand in recent years.
Both skiers are excited as well. “Moonlight invited me to an early production binding test years ago, and I have been following the progress ever since,” says Robinson. “The ultra-light gear is a priority and is ideal for my life touring backcountry ski terrain all over the globe.” Gorham went on to say, “Moonlight is a natural fit for me.
